Sage began playing the violin as an 8 year old while living in South London. He studied at the Oberlin conservatory. After high school he quit music so he could focus his energy on partying and puking in New York city. His odd childhood and the dark period that followed was perfect fodder for his graphic poetry novel "Sex Drugs and Sunday School".
After touring the United States and England with his one-man comedy show "Son of a Bush" which earned him comparisons to comic legend Bill Hicks at the internationally renowned Edinburgh Fringe festival, Sage returned to the violin. He has most recently has played on legendary hip hop producer Carlos Bess' latest project called M12, and has joined Diggs Dynamite, a new buzz band with a heavy and hard mix of punk rock and metal. Sage is also working on an album of music for meditation, and using his music as a healing tool, bringing the violin to cancer patients at Sloane Kettering Memorial Cancer Clinic.
