In The Sun

This is only available from iTunes. It is a 6-song ep with all proceeds going to victims of Hurrican Katrena. And, all six songs are the same, just different versions of, what I think is, one of the great pop songs, In The Sun, written by vastly underrated Joseph Arthur.
A couple of versions feature Stipe singing with Arthur, there is also a live version sung featuring Stipe with Coldplay, and a remix done by Justin Timberlake and Will.i.am from the Black-Eyed Peas. I'm recommending it mostly because I think more people should get to know the talent of Arthur, who, by the way, is currently touring the U.K. and is a must see live.
Stipe's interpretations of the song are in his classic strained vocal style and he wanders away from the original melody more than once, which is not always the best, but it is a cool song and a good cause to support.
